Paris Trip
28/03/2024

Last week, Year 9 and Year 10 pupils enjoyed a visit to Paris. We were delighted to experience a taste of some summer weather with temperatures hitting 23 degrees as we spent 3 days packed with historical, cultural and fun activities.

We started with a beautiful descent into Charles de Gaulle airport viewing the Eiffel Tower lit up at sunset. Thursday was spent visiting all of the sites of central Paris and taking every opportunity to try out the pupils' amazing French on anyone who would listen! Friday was a sunny visit to Disney, including the spectacular light and firework show in the evening. On Saturday we returned to Paris to visit Montmartre and after a tour of the historic basilica we enjoyed a walking tour of the Montmartre area and its many artists at work and cafes.

The visit was a great success and everyone taking part had an unforgettable experience and a taste of real France. Many thanks to Mr Hughes, Miss Belcher and Mr Banks for accompanying the visit and to Miss Roskell for her organisational support.
