A comprehensive and extensive school bus service is operated on behalf of the school by the County Council. Service buses also pass regularly along the A6 which is linked by a footpath direct to the school. Services operating to and from the school car park cover the following districts: Preston, Fulwood, Clifton, Lea, Cottam, Catforth, Woodplumpton, Ingol, Wychnor, Longsands and Sherwood.
Regular public service buses link Bilsborrow and Barton with the school. Another regular service from outside the school gate links us to Goosnargh.
Parents who bring and collect their children by car are requested NOT to bring the cars into the school grounds as the total parking area in front of the school is required by the school buses and the area at the back of the school via Sandygate Lane is a staff car park and sports area. Parents are not supposed to drop off in car park.
Pupils may come to school by bicycle provided that they have completed an approved course in safe cycling and have a cycle helmet. Cyclists bring and store their cycles on the school premises at their own risk. It is recommended that cycles are insured and must be secured while on site with an appropriate cycle lock.

Late Bus
The late bus operates every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from mid-September to early July.
The service departs from Broughton at 4.25pm, allowing pupils to stay late to complete school work or participate in activities after school.
Cost
60p per pupil, per journey. Pupils are able to use their bus passes and return tickets.
