Achieving your Best at Broughton

To achieve your Award for contribution to our school community, you must have evidence of meeting 7 of the 8 challenges below. You can collect evidence across the year; however, the award can be achieved as soon as you have completed the criteria below.

Essential - complete all 1-4

1. Achieve at least a bronze award for your academic and pastoral achievement in school. (100 points on Synergy)

2. Have great attendance: This must be across a term.

3. Evidence of reading at least 3 books from the reading list.

4. Feature in the school newsletter or receive a praise postcard

Choice - complete 3 from 5-10

5. Join a Club or Team for at least 4 sessions. It could be sports, music, art or anything you enjoy!

6. Support a Charity by helping raise money or awareness for a good cause.

7. Help at a School Event like Parents' Evening, Open Evening or a school fair.

8. Help out in a chosen area of school in your own time.

9. Be recognised in the Community by doing something special outside of school

10. Take Part in a Whole School Show, Performance or Event 

 

As your progress through the Year Groups, the targets will change to encompass new responsibilities and tasks available to you. You'll be able to choose from options such as being a School Ambassador in Year 8, a Tutor Group representative in Year 9, Maintain a Learning Score in Year 10 and Become a Prefect in Year 11!

 

Once you have completed the tasks you will be awarded with a Best of Broughton certificate and badge.
