Northern Cross-Country Championships

Huge congratulations to the following pupils who took part in this cross-country event last weekend.   Isabel and Nathaniel (Year 8), Dylan (Year 9) and India (Year 10) participated in very high-quality races, with over 115 athletes in each race, and over an undulating, quick and deceptively tricky Pontefract race course.  They endured mud and an icy wind to run with determination.

With regards team entries, the U13s did not field teams.  However, the U15 girls' team placed 5^th and the U15 boys' team for Preston won their age category (with Dylan Parker a member of that team).

Very well done to everyone; the commitment shown by these pupils to their extra-curricular activities, and their results at events like this, are testament to their dedication to train.
