Library News - Excelsior Awards

The Excelsior Awards recognise excellence in Graphic Novels and Manga and are voted for by schools up and down the country.  Every year, national judges choose a shortlist and pupils are asked to give each book a score out of 5 for story, artwork, dialogue and characters.

This year, our Excelsior Awards reading club have been busy reading a fantastic array of titles and voting for their favourites.  Between them, our avid readers have read over 50 books with graphic novels: Avengers, Uncanny Spiderman and manga title Hirayasumi, all scoring highly with our readers.  We can’t wait to see if our top choices mirror the national vote in a few weeks’ time.  Congratulations to all of our fantastic readers:
