Flag designed by Emily Towers arrives in Antarctica!

Back in October, Year 7 Geographers designed flags to represent Antarctica as part of the UK Polar Network Antarctica Flag Project. The flag designed by Emily Towers (7S) was chosen to represent Broughton and it began its long journey to Antarctica.  Just before we broke up for Easter, I received an email to say the flag had travelled to the Signy Research Station Antarctica with Derren Fox who is a Zoological Field Assistant.  The coordinates for the exact location are 60°43’S and 45°46’W for anyone who wishes to investigate further.
